  1. Taste the summer all year around. Get ready to ferment the foods you enjoy now that won't be around in a couple of months. Look into making your own jam and chutneys that will allow you to enjoy the flavours of summer and fall until next season.

Q: Eating for the environment, what’s something we should know, something we won’t be able to find online or in a book?

There are so many other products that farmers want to grow that makes their soil healthier by having that bio-diversity but they need a market to sell those products to — we encourage everyone to try new varieties of fruit and vegetable, it makes for an interesting eating experience, reduces our footprint and directly supports small batch makers and local farmers.
